The Ecotourism NZ Conference brings like-minded people together in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. It is a chance to celebrate our successes, share ideas, discuss latest issues and explore new opportunities. The conference is also making a positive difference to our industry. By working together we are helping influence the direction of nature-based tourism, ensuring it is not only successful, but also evolves in a way we are happy with.
This year we will be gathering in Rotorua – a region that embraces and celebrates its culture and heritage, and a place where communities and businesses are working together to improve and enhance their natural environment.
Highlights include:
- Keynote speaker Robert Swan – polar explorer, environmentalist and the first person ever to have walked to the North and South poles.
- In-depth tourism workshops at Te Puia, Rainbow Springs, Agroventures, Waimangu, Whakarewarewa Thermal Village, River Rats on the Kaituna River & with Te Urewera Treks.
- Enjoy evening entertainment and a sumptuous banquet at the Blue Baths. Network with industry professionals and be inspired!
