During the 1960s and 1970s American-born Shari Cole, who has a background in sewing crafts, lived for nine years in American Samoa. During those years she developed a passionate interest in Pacific weaving, learning skills and melding them with her own distinctive creations. A selection of the artist’s own works and collection items reveal a long-standing passion for the Pacific and its people.
Entry to the exhibition is included with general admission to the museum.
