As part of the Jazz & Blues Club program of fostering younger musicians, we are proud to present this outstanding quartet of students from the Auckland University Jazz School.

Singer Chelsea Prastiti has been highly praised by her tutors, and those who have heard her perform with the Queen City Big Band. She lists jazz icons Anita O’Day, Ella Fitzgerald and Betty Carter and among her favourites.

The members of the quartet rehearse and perform together regularly at the Jazz school. Their program on this occasion will include a wide selection of swing and Latin standards plus tunes from the Be–Bop era.

In addition to Chelsea on vocals the group will feature:
