Clay has been the medium of creative choice for Albany resident Dulcie Draper for over 25 years. Each piece is handmade, original and one of a kind. Colour variances and mistakes are left as they are part of the process.
Although clay is relatively valueless in its raw state, it can be transformed by pushing, scraping, and paddling into almost any imaginable shape and then decorated with designs and glazes.
Art is a universal language that is understood and recognized by everyone, everywhere. What is important is the pleasure each piece of art can bring to someone’s life. Through the miracle of hand, heart and soul, you literally make something out of nothing.
