Don't believe the hype. Unless of course, the hype is coming from some pretty sweet people. Then you should definitely believe it.
Angela Fisken: "I'm in love with PeaceTreaty, I want to have their babies"
Laidback Luke: "PeaceTreaty is on fire! I want a remix from you soon!"
Kissy Sell Out: "I'm loving everything that PeaceTreaty do at the moment... every remix they do, they absolutely slam it!"
Afrojack: "Siiiiiiiiick, think this could work wonders man! (Stereotype) Please send me over some more stuff."
This could go on and on. Why? Because PeaceTreaty are blowing the hell up and these guys from California are one of the top artists to watch in 2010, making huge waves in the scene and churning out some insane beats. With energetic, hyped-up tunes that seem to be popping up almost weekly they are taking the world by storm. It's little wonder that the boys are now signed to Dim Mak with an EP coming out in November and are embarking on an international tour.

Dropped is stoked to bring you PeaceTreaty!
2010 has been and will continue to be a little crazy for Dropped with 11 internationals. Stay tuned, the Bingo Players, Will Bailey, Kid Kenobi and MC Shureshock's 10th year anniversary tour and a Xmas party featuring Bass Kleph are still to come. So let's get a little silly.
To say thank you for everyone's continued support, the gig will be $5 before midnight. On top of this, there will be drink giveaways, birthday hats, karaoke battles, people falling over, drinks spilt, people clapping merrily and tickets to Will Bailey handed out.
You can't see much and the sound is terrible but check this video of Wolfgang Gartner playing PeaceTreaty to get an idea of the vibe to expect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VErvxeNkq8A. Basically, utter madness.
Local support on the night will be from:
Dan Aux
Angela Fisken
Soane
Sweetmix Kids
Bent Serum
Jono Peters
Shane Aylett

PeaceTreaty bio:
PeaceTreaty was created in 2009 by DJ Josh Anaya as a means to start expressing himself musically, rather than just spinning the songs of others. He began making bootleg remixes of artists such as David Guetta, Amanda Blank, Wolfgang Garter and more, and by the end of 2009 he was making originals and official remixes. He got two well-received tracks up on Beatport, an original (“Cheaters”) out through Hot Small Records, and also an official remix of “The Illest” by Oh Shit ft. Messinian.
In early 2010 Josh teamed up with fellow Los Angeles DJ Sam Hiller (Groove Radio) and PeaceTreaty became a duo. Sam has spent the last two years working for DJ legend Swedish Egil and his radio station Groove Radio. He has played clubs, raves, and events of all sorts all over Southern California including gigs at Playhouse, The Heist, The Fox Theaters (Pomona & San Bernardino), Cinespace, Nacional, The Standard (DT), and a residency at Arena. Together, Josh and Sam have made PeaceTreaty into a formidable duo.
