Opera Idol 2010 Finals - Song Contest for School Students

You are invited to support your favourite future star at the finals of the annual Opera Idol Song Contest for school students! The stage is set, the spotlights are sparkling and tension is high backstage as one by one the top ten finalists will enter the stage, strut their stuff alongside the grand piano and compete for prizes and awards.

This year entries have been received from 36 talented young solo singers all hoping to be selected from each age group to go forward to the finals night.

Opera Idol provides an encouraging and competitive opportunity to showcase the talents and dreams of young singers, many of whom will pursue a professional opera career; so enjoy and support them whilst you can.

Opera Factory is a charitable trust based in Newmarket and freely provides a professionally guided annual programme of performance, education, training and mentoring to all ages and levels, alongside fringe productions of chamber opera, recitals, masterclass, workshops, concerts and special events.
