The Auckland Welsh Choir presents a concert of varied music in support of the St Barnabas organ restoration fund. The Choir has developed a well-earned reputation for its rich sound and entertaining performances.
The varied programme includes Beethoven's instrumental settings of Welsh songs, excerpts from Carmen, including a xylophone solo played by Sam Rich, a section of Celtic laments and of course some Welsh favourites. The choir is being joined by students from the music department of Auckland University, providing our soloists and accompanist.
