Hawkes Bay Ukulele Festival Launch

Calling all Uke Fans! If you love all things ukulele you are in for an absolute treat this year as the Hawke’s Bay Ukulele Festival reaches heady heights, attracting ukulele gurus from around the world! This annual event which made its sensational debut at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House in 2009 is sure to please with a programme packed with entertainment, workshops and of course a second attempt to beat the world record for the ‘Largest Ukulele Ensemble’.

To give you a taste of what is in store at the festival in late November, the Hawke’s Bay Opera House invite you along to a launch in the Cushing Foyer where you will be treated to the sweet, sweet sounds of the ukulele with guest appearances by members of the Hawke’s Bay Ukulele Underground and students involved in the Schools Ukulele Orchestra.
