- One Step Higher, choreographed by Karen Barbour, is set to a passionate Kodaly score and inspired by the poem ‘The Bee Keeper’ (about Sir Edmund Hillary) by Victoria Broome.
- Marie Hermo Jensen (Stellaris Dance NZ) is choreographing a newly devised piece informed by the process of new meetings and interactions.
- Geadh Fladhaich (Wild Goose) choreographed by Debbie Bright is based on a story of ‘birth, destruction and rebirth of a culture’, from the Island of Iona and Holy Island, East of Scotland.
- In Sue Cheesman’s Between Spaces, structures and spaces are explored as boundaries dissolve and different viewpoints evolve.
Local professional dancers have come together with Hillary Dance Scholars to create a programme of inspired dance work, celebrating local talent and contemporary dance innovation.
