Half James Bond, half XXX, mild-mannered disc-jockey James Ashwin can regularly be spotted saving damsels and dancefloors alike – when club-kids cry out for a hero – he answers the call.

There's no question that James holds the golden gun, having solidified his reputation across Australasian clubs and festival floors with his unique and action packed brand of ass-shwanging, hands in the air nu-disco and club-flavoured house. Sharing the spotlight on stage with the likes of A-Trak, Joey Negro, Ian Carey, and Kaskade, this licensed-to-kill name in NZ nightlife has been labelled as one of the country’s most outstanding young DJs.

As a 00-operative, James has done his part for King and country - leaving broken hearts and ravaged bartenders in his wake. He's ready for action anytime, anywhere – from his weekly 7-10pm Thursday Night Disco broadcast on Radio Ponsonby with fellow agent Joshie Olausen, to his work as the head honcho of the Exclusive Entertainment empire that delivers some of dance music’s biggest acts to NZ shores...

Hamilton local mad DJs Greg Stack & James Lawless are not only the craziest promoters of all time but are some of the best DJ talent Hamilton has to offer. They organize and run some of Hamilton's biggest events such as Our:house, Soundscape & Covert Raves. Its not a Hamilton dance party if Tronik DJs aren't involved! They also do their own Radio Show on BackBeat FM 89.0 FM 9pm-12 every Saturday night!

His style is unmatched and really works his gear hard cutting, chopping, changing and scratching this guy is the busiest DJ on stage at all times. He is the only DJ we know of that has worn the paint and dials off his mixer within 12 months. He has also played in gigs such as Global Dancefest with Mobin Master, Soundscape, Global Deejays & Headlined at the Sand Bar on the main Mount beach for new years eve many, many times
