Grey Lynn School is excited to be celebrating its Centennial in September 2010 and is inviting all past and present students, as well as the local community, to join in the festivities. Did you go to Grey Lynn School or know someone who did? If so, please register your interest in this momentous occasion on our website - www.greylynn.school.nz

The Grey Lynn School Centennial will be taking place from September 16-19, 2010 and features an exciting schedule including:

- A Grey Lynn School Production
- A Centennial House & Garden tour through the stunning Grey Lynn School - gardens, St Columba and private homes
- The unearthing of the Grey Lynn School time capsule – buried during the school’s 75-year celebrations in 1986
- A guided tour of the school – it has changed a lot in 100 years!
- Centennial photos to ensure your place in Grey Lynn School’s history is recorded
- A church service at St Columba Church
- A Centennial dinner

To celebrate and commemorate 100 Years, acclaimed artist Bob Steiner has designed a series of Pasifika panels specifically for Grey Lynn School. These panels will form a Celebration Wall for the school and will give past and present pupils the opportunity to leave a lasting memory.

The Centennial celebrations will be a great opportunity to observe how the school has changed in recent years, renew friendships from the past and to make new friendships for the future.

Grey Lynn School is a dynamic, multicultural school with over 300 students from Year 0 to Year 6. Students are well supported by energetic, motivated and highly skilled teaching staff. The school enjoys a positive partnership with the community which has led to the creation of an exciting, innovative, and rewarding learning environment that values and respects our individual differences.
