'Family' is Patrick Hartigan's first exhibition since moving from his hometown of Sydney to Dunedin to live. Known for his idiosyncratic works on paper, 'Family' includes for the first time a majority of oil paintings. There is a peculiar 1950s feel to the works in 'Family'; perhaps a time when, visually, the sense of family was at its most compelling.
