The Cracks In Everything. Featuring the original songs of Nikki Berry (guitar/vocals) with Gary Easterbrook (bass/piano/vocals/percussion), Geoff Low (saxophone/koauau/flute), and Jane Hobson (vocals/percussion.)
The Cracks In Everything are a collective that widens and shrinks to fit the gig. This line-up features rich vocal harmony, light percussion and soaring instrumental melodies. The songs encompass three decades of song-writing and reflect a wide range of styles, with folk, reggae, funk, rock, jazz and African influences. Some songs are about hope, some satirical, some autobiographical, some protest, some environmental, almost always surprising and often memorable, leaving behind what the Germans call 'ear worms' with hook bass lines and vocals worming their way into the listeners' consciousness.
