City Mission Sunday Lunch

A new date and a new venue have been confirmed for the Christchurch City Mission Sunday Lunch:
October 31 at Isaac Theatre Royal at 12pm.

The 'City Mission Sunday Lunch' is fast becoming a Christchurch tradition. For the third year running Jonny Schwass and friends from the hospitality industry bring you an afternoon of fun, food and fundraising.

Chefs, waiters, restaurant managers and owners from all over the Garden City come together to raise money for the City Mission's Food Bank and present guests with a sumptuous three course banquet lunch, including beverages. Everyone is giving their time and expertise, and those who can't are giving the food and drinks, meaning all money raised can go where it's most needed.

So gather your family and friends and join MC Shay Hooray and his band of merry men for song, dance and bingo. There will be silent (and not so silent) auctions, with all proceeds going to the Mission.

In many cultures food plays an important role in bringing people together, and the 'City Mission Sunday Lunch' is a great way to join with your community for a wonderful afternoon, while also giving a hand up to those among us who are struggling in these tough times.
