Saturday 4 September, 1pm
Kate Montgomery discusses the temperamental interactions of Sean Kerr’s recent work. Montgomery is the out-going Director at the Physics Room in Christchurch, where she curated Kerr’s 2008 exhibition klunk, clomp, aaugh!, and is now Senior Curator at City Gallery, Wellington.

Saturday 11 September, 1pm
Critic and Programme Leader in Critical Studies at Elam School of Fine Arts, Jonathan Bywater, responds to Sean Kerr’s exhibition with a talk on Sean Kerr, The Three Stooges and jokes that aren’t funny.

Saturday 18 September, 1pm
Sean Kerr introduces an exclusive screening of his film and video works.

Saturday 25 September, 3pm at Artspace
Launch of the new Sean Kerr publication, On the nose, a monograph covering his work to the present day with essays by Tobias Berger, Jan Bryant, Emma Bugden, Jonathan Bywater, Andrew Clifford, Tessa Laird, Zita Joyce and Adam Willets. This 160-page book is published by Clouds on the occasion of the Artspace/Gus Fisher Gallery exhibition.

Saturday 2 October, 1pm
Artist Sean Kerr discusses his work in the exhibition, Bruce danced if Victoria sang, and Victoria sang; so Bruce danced, followed by a talk at Artspace at 3pm.

Saturday 9 October, 1pm
A circuit-bending workshop led by Christchurch-based sound artist Adam Willetts. Bring your own electronic noise-makers and turn them into instruments to be performed in the evening concert that follows. Visit www.gusfishergallery.auckland.ac.nz for bookings and information.

Saturday 9 October, 7.30pm
Music 4 DIY
A free concert with live performances from Sean Kerr and friends. Includes the new work Music 4 DIY, utilising home-made and circuit-bent electronics from the afternoon workshop, and a reunion of a previous collaboration, Drew vs. Sean Kerr.

All exhibitions and events are free and take place at the Gus Fisher Gallery unless otherwise noted.
