The FNZCCI invites you to hear from guest speaker Richard Watts, partner and co-head of the Intellectual Property Group of Simpson Grierson. Richard is an expert across the board in intellectual property matters, particularly specialising in trade marks and copyright.
He is one of New Zealand’s foremost authorities on ambush marketing (the unauthorised branding of events) and the Major Events Management Act, having advised a number of leading sporting organisations, sponsors and local governments in relation to the 2007 Netball World Championships, the 2010 Rowing World Champs, and the forthcoming Rugby World Cup and World Triathlon Championship in 2011 and 2012.
