The NZ Wood Timber Design Awards is a highly acclaimed, annual awards event showcasing the innovative and aesthetic use of timber by New Zealand architects and engineers. The entrants constantly provide projects of a very high standard, making the evening an interesting and worthwhile event for everyone with an interest in timber and design.
This year, the awards will be hosted by Fair Go’s Kevin Milne, and we are proud to welcome the team from Victoria University to present their Eco-House Project, due for construction in Washington in 2011.
The evening will begin at 5.30pm with drinks and canapés, and provides the opportunity for attendees to view all the 2010 entries, discuss the entries with companies involved, and network with other industry-related contacts. Coffee and dessert will follow the formal proceedings at approximately 8.30pm, and is all inclusive of the ticket cost.
The Timber Design Awards are being held in conjunction with ForestWood 2010 conferences held within the week. More information on the ForestWood conferences can be found here: www.forestwood.org.nz
