The Central Band of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, in association with the Wellington City Council and conducted by Squadron Leader Owen Clarke, will perform the popular Air Force Proms concert in The Wellington Town Hall.
The 65 member Central Band will return to the stage once again after a year long hiatus. The concert will feature soprano and 2009 Lexus Song Quest winner Aivale Cole with Auckland actor and MC Kevin Keys.
The performance by New Zealand’s largest professional symphonic band will be packed with "something for everyone". It will be a spectacular occasion with bagpipes, guest vocalist and other solo performers, as well as the band’s brass, saxophones, woodwind and drummers.
The music performed will range from Proms classics and traditional to jazz and modern hits.
