Ten Pin Bowling - NZ Business Games

The NZ Business Games are New Zealand's single largest business house event. In the past 15 years over 55,000 people have participated in the fun, that’s about 3,000 - 3,500 participants from 140 - 150 organisations every year. All those games and all that action makes for a lot of great stories over coffee or at the water cooler!

Mixed teams of 4 - single sex teams may enter if there are spaces (need to contact organisers), but are not eligible to go through to finals.

Minimum of 2 games (40-minute games), there will be 5 squads, at set times, first squad will register at 8.40am. Teams need to allow 1.5 hours per squad, top teams from each squad will go through to finals early afternoon.

Each game consists of ten frames. Each box on the score sheet represents one frame. You have a maximum of two deliveries per frame, unless you roll a strike.

If you knock down all ten pins with your first delivery in a frame, you have scored a strike. A strike counts as 10 points plus the number of pins you knock down with your next two deliveries in the next frame or frames (when it is your turn to bowl again).

Bowlarama is located at the back of the Wellington Indoor Sports Centre.
