George fm DJ’s excite from 10-11pm, & as wild spirit of Elvis sweeps through the Sandbar,
Showman the Knave will spin some Jazz, Swing, & Rock N Roll. So slip on your sophisticated
dress code cats, & shake your wild thing at the Sandbar.

George FM DJ 'Amy B'

Amy has been peddling music for almost 10 years now, in many of the bars and clubs across Auckland and New Zealand, as well as gigs in Melbourne, Rome, Croatia, London and Vancouver. Amy graduated MAINZ with a Diploma in Audio Engineering in 2004 and took her talents to Maori Television to run the in house audio department for two years, all the while supportig her student lifestyle as a working DJ, playing at all the big club nights ... Deep, Hard n Funky; Our House; Highlife... and holding down residencies at 76 and Morrisson.

During her time at Maori TV, Amy was whisked to Rome in 2004 to attend the Red Bull Music Academy alongside Julien Dyne and Submariner. She did her rite of passage on George FM for five years, presenting 'Tunes for Tuesday' and then 'The Big Playback'; then she moved on to present Monday Nights on 95bFM. Back in the saddle at George FM, Amy is on air semi-regularly, currently filling in for Jason Eli on Groovadelica (Mondays 10am - 12pm) and hustling for her next regular spot.
