Benn & Julz:
Benn Kara (16yrs) and Julion Wright (14yrs), local Waiheke boys who attend Waiheke High School, have formed an enthusiastic, dynamic duo. Benn has been writing music and performing solo since he was 9 years old. Julz has been playing lead guitar for 5 years. Benn has been a regular soloist at the massive Auckland Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park 2005/6/7/9; won the Smokefree Rockquest Auckland Regional Finals 2007; and the Auckland City Libraries Singer/Songwriter Composition Competition 2007, winning a day's recording at The Lab Studio, Mt. Eden; performed at Pasifika Festival, one of which Julz accompanied him. Last year the band "Feigned Innocence" was formed, which included Benn as lead singer/guitar and Julz on lead guitar. Benn and Julz are both passionate musicians with a gift for song-writing. They perform original material and covers of well-known bands. With Benn's vocals and Julz taking lead guitar to another level, they are out to impress!

Macombee & The Goddesses are a captivating trio. Performing original songs in close 3 part harmony from their knockout show everyone’s talking about, accompanied by piano. They are provocative, moving and often funny. They would describe themselves as Alternative Cabaret Pop.
