The 'Crafternoon Tea' concept has taken off in Auckland and a new generation have picked up their knitting needles and dusted off granny's old Singer. LHG is embracing the revival of old craft and the emerging 'slow design' movement. We'll be offering afternoon teas on the top floor of Lopdell House.
Along with a delicious tea and the glorious view you'll be able to indulge in some creative endeavours such as felting, ceramic decoration and printing in the company of like-minded craft enthusiasts.
Kicking off with a soft jewellery session making brooches and/or necklaces on Sunday October 17th. If you have a favourite piece of vintage fabric or buttons you've always wondered what you're keeping them for then this is the workshop for you. Enjoy a cuppa and delicious cupcake afterwards.
