Interested in butterflies? Members of the Monarch Butterfly NZ Trust meet at the Pavilion at Te Puna Quarry Park on the first Sunday of every month to answer questions from the public regarding butterfly raising and protection. We give away free seeds of Monarch host-plants and provide practical demonstrations of equipment and techniques. We usually finish with a walk up to the Butterfly Garden at the park.
