Galatea Theatre produces Geoff Allen's new R18 comedy. It’s fast, it’s furious, it's sexually explicit, it’s really funny – Speed dating! Join the cast of Speed-Daters as they talk very fast in their search for love! All in 1 night - 3 men, 3 women, 3 minutes, 1 txt – Are you game?
Speed-Daters is a look inside the modern phenomenon of speed dating. Three men and three women wait together after the event until they receive the text at midnight that will tell them if anyone they have met that night wants to meet them again. In flashback they go over the different men or women they have spent three minutes with. In the second half of the play we see nine vignettes as each actor spends three minutes with the three members of the opposite sex. The audience is given a chance to tick on their cards who they think will match up, then we see if any of them actually found their true love.
