Why are we doing this you may ask... Here are some key facts:

- One in three children under five is stunted with short height for their age. This equates to 178 million worldwide. This is a measure of chronic malnutrition that is usually the result of a poor diet and disease over a prolonged period.
- Every 3 seconds a child dies-from preventable causes like pneumonia, malaria or complications in childbirth.
- Every year, 9 million children around the world are at risk of dying from preventable causes before they reach the age of 5.
- It is critical to tackle malnutrition before a child's second birthday - beyond that harmful effects cannot be reversed.
- Every child has a right to learn. Yet 75 million children, of whom 41 million are girls, do not go to primary school.

Example impacts:

$18 will provide a child at a school in Rwanda with a meal each day for 1 month.
$40 will supply a street child in Ethiopia with pyjamas, trousers, t-shirts, shoes, and flip-flops when they join a home.
$350 will provide a daily lunch and vitamin to 50 children in an Andean community for a month.
