LATE 08: Innovate Crime and Justice

Smart Talk moderated by Finlay Macdonald with Professor Greg Newbold, Sam Chapman and Professor Warren Brookbanks.

Finlay and esteemed guests will discuss New Zealand's crime rate and justice system. Our country has the second highest per capita incarceration rate in the developed world. Are we are a particularly crime-prone nation, and if so why? Does our justice system need reforming?

Entertainment on the evening is from the Footnote Dance Company who will premiere dance pieces in different museum galleries to soundtracks and visuals by New Zealand's top contemporary musicians. Rhian Sheehan and five piece band will also perform on the night.

Doors open 6.30pm, bar and food available. Seating limited for the panel discussion.
