To Celebrate International Babywearing Week 2010 a walk is being held in Auckland again this year. Theme: 'Babywearing Safety; enjoy the benefits". Organised by Aquabub and supported by Slingbabies.

You are invited to join us for a babywearing / family walk along Tamaki Drive to Mission Bay, wearing your precious child in your favourite baby carrier / sling. If you don't have a baby or toddler to carry, never fear as babywearing supporters are welcome to join us, along with older children. Bring the whole family!

Pack a picnic to enjoy at the end of the walk. Older kids will love the new Mission Bay playground too.

Everyone who joins us on the day and registers at the start of the walk, will be eligible for the prize draws at the end of the walk. Some generous NZ businesses have donated baby carriers and accessories for the giveaways and so far the prize pool is valued at $850.00 and climbing! Meet on the footpath opposite Kelly Tarltons from 11am to register. The walk will commence at 11.25am.
