Auckland East Art Council are hosting the Art Auckland 2010 bi-annual exhibition. The work produced by its members and Auckland artists is, as expected, of a very high standard. A unique and exciting start to your Christmas shopping. Each unique piece is created with great pride and much talent.
Alongside the exhibited work is the very talented Sophia Minson, who will be available to discuss her Ngati Whatua roots, importantly influential in her work.
There will also be hands on workshops, hosted by the art community members throughout the weekend. Each artist brings a new and fresh approach. We encourage both adults and children interested in art to come along and try out some of the applications on offer. It will be a fun and colourful weekend.
