The Footnote Forte Series shows contemporary dance in different spaces. Responding to the environment in which we find ourselves, be it social, natural, political or the wonder of people and their relationships, new choreographies have been made by New Zealand choreographers Malia Johnston, Maria Dabrowska, Kristian Larsen, Sarah Foster, Sarah Knox and Lyne Pringle.
Featuring music by Chris Knox, Rhian Sheehan, Eden Mulholland, Sam Hamilton, Niko Ne Zna and Gene Alexander.
In Auckland, the audience move throughout Galatos to watch the dance pieces, and in Wellington, the audience walk along the waterfront from Museum of Wellington City & Sea to The Boatshed to Museum Hotel.
Footnote Dance is directed by Deirdre Tarrant and features dancers Sarah Knox, Anita Hunziker, Jeremy Poi, Lucy Marinkovich and Robbie Curtis.
