Tasman Marine Taranaki Boat Show 2010

Local & loyal! Come and join the thousands that attended the Inaugural Taranaki Boat Show that delighted all attendees with boating, fishing & the great NZ outdoors.

Tasman Marine has come on board for 3 years as Naming Rights Sponsor, and we believe this to be a solid local & loyal affiliation to cement this Lower North Island Regional Boat Show into the country's recreational program.

Along the boat show's theme we have something for everyone this year, such as;

-- Surf & Turf Food Expo -This is for the foodies in the Family.
- Live fish filleting demos
- Seafood cooking demonstrations
- Free tastings
- All the bells & whistles for your food & kaimoana

-- Seascape Art Competition -This is for the young artists in the family at school in the Taranaki Region.
- $500 cash first prize for each age group best painting, drawing, collage.
- Three age categories are primary, intermediate, secondary.
- Just bring it along on Sat for judging and you never know what your school can do with the money.
(open to all school age groups) - school must register before event.

-- Major Prize Draw -This is for all paying gate attendees.
- Just fill in the questionnaire and place into bin at the boat.
- Prize includes; Quicksilver RIB Boat, Voyager trailer, Mercury outboard, life jackets for four (2 adults & 2 children)
- 2 people to attend a coastguard day skippers course for a summer of safe boating

-- Major Junior Prize Draw - This is for all 6-14 year olds.
-Just fill in the questionnaire and place into bin at the boat.
- Prize includes; mountain bike, skate board, digital camera, fishing rod/reel.
