The freshest new band to come out of Wellington, Zirigidum, will carry you from New Zealand to the beaches, streets and clubs of tropical Brazil. Be prepared to kick off your shoes and let the beat shake you!

This 10-piece band brings you funky Afro-Brazilian beats and rich soulful sounds. Sophisticated female voices harmonising with saxophone and flute, adding the fusion of superb percussion rhythms, purring guitar and bass melodies to create an amazing musical texture and energy. With a set of original compositions and Brazilian and international classics, they have quickly gained a reputation for performing to appreciative dance crowds.
