Trailrun . . . from the Maitai Dam, the route ascends the Dun Mountain Saddle (875m) following the south branch of the Maitai River. Then over to Coppermine Saddle and down-hill along New Zealand’s first railway line, finishing at OK Corral, Brook Street, Nelson.

Perfect training weekend for those doing Coast to Coast or similar over the summer - with Cycling Nelson's Te Rauparaha's Revenge on the next day (75km cycle ride from Nelson to Pelorus).
