The Korean Fine Arts Association of New Zealand (KFANZ) is based in Auckland and was established in 2002. In this exhibition, twenty-two KFANZ members exhibit work in a range of artistic mediums and techniques, both traditional and contemporary. The artists are graduates of art schools in New Zealand and/or Korea, some with many years of experience.

The Korean Fine Arts Association of New Zealand views the visual arts as a significant means of creating awareness and understanding between people. The works in this exhibition depict and further the development of Korean art in a New Zealand context.

Through this exhibition, visitors will have an excellent opportunity to experience a broad variety of art and culture as interpreted by these Korean artists now living in New Zealand and making a valuable contribution to the arts.
