The School of Contemporary Belly Dance presents their Spring Halfa. A student, teacher and performer recital to showcase a variety of belly dance and belly dance performer levels from first time to professional.

Featuring performances from:

Tribal Classes: the North African and flamenco rooted belly dance style from America, coloured skirts, finger cymbals and big smiles.

Oriental Classes: the fluidity of Middle Eastern dance mixed with floating veils and sparking costumes.

Fusion Classes: from Turkish Rom gypsy dance to the contemporary beats of Jennifer Lopez, this is all about the fun.

The students are a mixture of first-time performers (give them a hand) and seasoned dancers you'll have seen before at BellyCab events.

You'll see stage spectacular items and get to experience the restaurant style dancing during the quieter moments. Come and enjoy!

The Hafla is fundraising for the School of Contemporary Belly Dance which lost their studio during the earthquake.

Doors open 7pm. Dancing starts 7.30 pm, goes on till late.
