The New Nature Chinese Ensemble, a group of young ethnic musicians, is having their 1st annual concert in Hamilton. There are 2 concerts, one from 3PM and another from 7PM.
The members are mainly high-school students with a highly musical background. Their instruments are the bamboo flute, pipa, erhu, guzheng, piano, violin, viola, cello and percussion. The programme includes 13 Chinese/Taiwanese songs, 2 Japanese songs and one English tune, featuring 6 special guests (including a singer, a harpist, a percussionist among others).
