Melbourne-based Rob McHaffie's Dunedin exhibition is his first solo outing in New Zealand. McHaffie's paintings are happily skewed, have a penchant for a kitsch reference yet will project some discomfort or anxiety. McHaffie says of his work "You'll find bits and pieces of everyone, everything and nothing in my work. I try to keep it open and feed it like a fire".
