A wonderful variety of foodie discoveries await us in Auckland's southern suburbs.

A visit to the long-running Otara Market is an absolute must, so our tour starts slightly earlier than usual. We will look at the variety of fruits, vegetables and other foods on offer, then allow you time for browsing.

Then we move on to explore some of the Asian and Indian shops in Otahuhu and take you to the "secret" location of an artisan Hungarian sausage maker!

Our day finishes with a wine tasting at a well-known winery and perhaps a freshly-made strawberry ice cream cone to savour on the return trip to downtown Auckland.

Transportation, lots of tastings, morning coffee and lunch are included. Bring your shopping bag!
