Last Minute, TDmuzic and Kompakt present Superpitcher (Kilamanjaro album launch).

Last Minute Events have some very exciting news for NZ clubbers and underground music lovers of all kinds. Superpitcher from Kompakt Records (Germany) will be gracing our shores to play at the infamous underground space that is Be Club, boasting a seriously massive NZ-made sound system. With a Transformation of the club with décor lighting and visual show planned this could be up for the gig of the year.

For those of you who don’t know Superpitcher, he is one half of the Duo Supermayer (Micheal Mayer and Superpitcher). Aksel Schaufler is his real name. Visiting the St James Theatre around 6 years ago to a packed crowd making history in the underground scene for one of those most talked about nights for all who were there to witness. For those who who missed out this is your chance to see one of the best take you on a journey that you shall never forget in one of the best intimate environments that Auckland has to offer.

With an album release coming early September called Kilamanjaro. "The songs on Kilimanjaro are in different directions [to Here Comes Love his first album] musically. Everything fits together, but it still sounds varied. There’s a lot more live instruments…and singing.”
