The SPCA Blessing of the Animals Service and great Animal Parade are a wonderful occasion for all the family to enjoy including your pets.
The events starts at 12.15pm with a parade up Queen Street consisting of owners and animals of all kinds; dogs, goats, donkeys, bulls, cats and birds to name a few. The parade assembles in lower Queens Street outside the Britomart Station and marches up Queen Street and Wellesley Street to St Matthews in the City Church.
All animals, owners and visitors are welcome to join in and celebrate our beautiful animals and mark St Francis of Assisi Day.
Service Starts at 1.00pm in St Matthews in the City Church.
