It's the theatre that has launched one thousand careers - and then some! BATS Theatre, the creative well of the capital city, is turning 21 years old in 2010, and having a great big super party to celebrate!

Every good Kiwi knows about 21st birthday parties: Held at the rugby club, a crap family photoboard, Drunkle Roy swaying under the weight of too many rums, mum cackling away with embarrassing stories while dad eyes up the young ladies, and the yard-glass that was a good idea until the sausage rolls were projected back into it.

Good, clean, wholesome Kiwi fun.

BATS turns 21 this year, and while mum and dad won't be on hand to embarrass us too much, we do know how to party, so that's what we're going to do - and you're invited!

We're gonna celebrate 21 years of BATStastic creative goodness, so put a ring around November 27 and keep an eye out for further announcements and tickets for the party of the year.
