Help support the continuing efforts to recover from the Yushu earthquake at the beginning of this year in Tibet/China. Our earlier fundraiser helped provide a clean water source and Tibetan medicines to people in the area.

Friends of Tibet are showing the 60 minute film "The Shadow Circus: the CIA in Tibet", a film with historic shots of the CIA funded Tibet resistance in the 1950s. This little known story highlights some of the Buddhist views on conflict and the Dalai Lama's current peaceful 'middle way' approach. Interviews with original Tibetan resistance fighters and CIA operatives hint at why the Tibetan struggle has endured for 60 years.

There will be raffles and a light supper. All welcome and entry by koha.

Money raised will be sent to the Yushu earthquake survivors through a NGO based in London and to our two Tibetan sponsor children.
