One of a kind - monoprinting workshop with Basia Smolnicki.

Discover the wonders of mono print in one day one workshop looking at this painterly technique. Using a range of mono print approaches you will produce a series of beautiful unique prints. All materials, morning and afternoon tea provided, choose from provided imagery or bring your own.

Basia Smolicki:
Basia was first introduced to printmaking by John Drawbridge at the Wellington Polytechnic School of Design in the 1980s. She continued a postgraduate diploma in printmaking at Camberwell School of Art and Craft, London and more recently completed a postgraduate diploma in fine arts at Wellington Massey University.

Basia has had many years art teaching experience tutoring drawing and printmaking at various local art schools while developing her own art practice. She has her own printing press at home in her studio where she creates works on paper and also produces designs sandblasted on glass, mirror and metal.
