From the writer of Foreskin's Lament.

This sophisticated black comedy takes a scalpel to
The art and craft of writing
Mid-life crises - marriage, mateship and mortality.

If character is destiny, was Billy doomed from the day he was born? Billy is a middle-aged script-writer facing the certain end of his marriage and the likely end of his career. Reliant on teaching for a living and the bottle for oblivion, his sense of self-worth is teetering on the edge. When mac, his best friend and producer, offers him a screenplay to write, will the gesture start 'our hero's journey from darkness to redemption' or trigger the final act of Billy's tragic career?

In the assured hands of director Conrad Newport (Niu Sila, King and Country, The Man That Lovelock Couldn't Beat, Le Sud), Greg McGee's latest work is an emotional rollercoaster that will make you laugh and make you cry.

"Robert McKee says that if a gun goes off in the last act, it has to be seeded in the first act. So here it is." - Billy
