Te Omanga Hospice and Mary Potter Hospice embark on an exciting new venture together with some of Wellington’s greatest musical talent for an evening of Motown, gospel, blues and soul songs that touch the heart.
The lineup of artists is impressive: Mara TK (Electric Wire Hustle), Lisa Tomlins (Fat Freddy's Drop, The Eggs, Ebb, Rhombus), Ryan Prebble (Spartacus R, Fly my Pretties, Pyramid Scheme), Toni Huata, Thomas Oliver, Ria Hall, Tyna Keelan (The Nok), Darren Watson, Kirsten Te Rito, Louis Baker (Louis Baker trio), Matiu Te Huki (Basscamp), Ned Worboys (Harbour City Electric, The Aviators), The Musical Island Boys, The Mission Choir and The Town Crier. Supporting band are: James Illingworth, Ali Isdale (The Bella Kalolo band), Paddy Bleakley, Darren Mathieson, Lucien Johnson and Nick VanDijk.
The evening's MC is comedian Michele A'Court.
