Celebrate Guy Fawke's in a safe and welcoming family atmosphere at Taupo's biggest celebration. Live stage entertainment by 12 piece reggae funk band Oceania Storm with support from the NZ Air Force Big Band. There are side shows, rides and hot food stalls galore.
The spectacular fireworks show to music is sponsored by Peter Smith, the owner of Starlight Cinema Centre, celebrating their 50th anniversary. The display is mounted in three locations offering an eye popping and heart thumping thrilling experience for young and old. The finale features 12 inch shells, the biggest fired in Taupo. Fireworks at 9pm or shortly after.
Picnics welcome, bring a beach chair, dress warm and wear comfortable walking shoes. We invite everyone to arrive early to avoid parking delays.
