Solo 160km challenge.
The Solo Challenge is the essence of the Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, a one lap circuit of Lake Taupo of approximately 160 km.
The Course starts and finishes on Tongariro Street, next to Taupo's Great Lake Centre and heads in an anti-clockwise direction around Lake Taupo, which is 357m above sea level. The highest point on the course is at 650 m.
The event caters for riders of all abilities and no special equipment is required, just a helmet, a safe bike and the determination to finish.
There are loads of fantastic spot prizes for all entrants including a brand new Skoda car.
Enter before October 1 to take advantage of the Early Bird prizes and to be in to win a fantastic prize package valued at $500.
All entrants receive a free hydration backpack valued at $50!
Costs - $95 before October 1; $96 after October 1.
