The performers in the Showcase Concert consist of students of IRMT NZ Rotorua Branch members who show promise on the performance platform. It gives them the opportunity to perform in a formal venue with a larger audience. The performers range from junior to senior level in piano, vocal or instrumental.
The concert also features the winners of the Nell Trail Junior and Intermediate Scholarships held annually in conjunction with the Eisteddfod and the annual $1000 Senior Scholarship held in August.
The concert is always a fitting finale to the end of the year for the students and teachers involved.
