Geoffrey has a degree in zoology and over 25 years experience of wildlife illustration for the World Wide Fund for Nature, Department of Conservation, New Zealand Geographic magazine, the Auckland Observatory and several museums. He has designed three sets of postage stamps for New Zealand Post and a set of first day covers for American Post.

Returning to New Zealand in the late 1980s after working as a scientific copy writer in London, he began a career as a write and illustrator specialising in natural history books. He has subsequently written and illustrated 16 books and illustrated over 40.

Geoffrey's presentation will deal mainly with his model making and a brief coverage of his book illustration and writing.
