A mandala is a “sacred circle” representing the totality of all existence, and used in many traditions as a form of creative expression and meditative contemplation. From the prayer banners and sand constructions of Tibetan monks, to the labyrinths and rose windows of Christian cathedrals, mandalas continue today to hold great spiritual presence.
In this 1 day introductory workshop, through meditation you will intuitively access inspiration, and create mandalas of personal meaning and beauty. You will also learn about the history of the mandala and its place in various cultures.
All art materials will be provided, and experience in meditation or drawing is not necessary as you will be taught simple but very effective techniques.
