My drawing practice uses media images for stimulus and effect. Without media coverage, comment and analysis I wouldn’t make the art I make. The major themes in my drawing - war, globalisation, politics and the environment - all dramatically rehearse basic questions of human justice and power. My connection to these themes - the bedrock of my practice over the past decade - occurs via television, the internet, radio and newspapers.
